More dominance by Bowdoin XC - both teams won at the UMF Invite yesterday. Colman won the men's race and Courtney finished second by a few tenths in the women's race. John and several other Bowdoin runners took the day off.
Nathan Alsobrook enters his 18th year as head coach of the Bowdoin nordic ski team. Prior to his Bowdoin tenure, Alsobrook held coaching positions at Whitman College, Montana State University, Colby College, and the Pocatello XC Ski Foundation. He earned an MS in Exercise Physiology from Montana State University in 2005; his thesis was entitled "The Role of Upper Body Power in Classical Cross-Country Ski Performance."
